Judges 6:8-10

8the Lord sent a prophet to the people of Israel. And he said to them, “Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: aI led you up from Egypt and brought you out of the house of slavery. 9And I delivered you from the hand of the Egyptians and from the hand of all who oppressed you, and bdrove them out before you and gave you their land. 10And I said to you, ‘I am the Lord your God; cyou shall not fear the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell.’ But you have not obeyed my voice.”

2 Kings 17:13

13Yet the Lord dwarned Israel and Judah eby every prophet fand every seer, saying, gTurn from your evil ways and keep my commandments and my statutes, in accordance with all the Law that I commanded your fathers, and that I sent to you by my servants the prophets.”

2 Chronicles 36:15-16

15The Lord, the God of their fathers, hsent persistently to them by his messengers, because he had compassion on his people and on his dwelling place. 16 iBut they kept mocking the messengers of God, jdespising his words and scoffing at his prophets, kuntil the wrath of the Lord rose against his people, until there was no remedy.

Nehemiah 9:30

30Many years lyou bore with them mand warned them nby your Spirit through your prophets. oYet they would not give ear. pTherefore you gave them into the hand of the peoples of the lands.

Jeremiah 25:3-7

3“For twenty-three years, qfrom the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, to this day, the word of the Lord has come to me, and I have spoken rpersistently to you, sbut you have not listened. 4 tYou have neither listened nor inclined your ears to hear, although the Lord upersistently sent to you all his servants the prophets, 5saying, vTurn now, every one of you, wfrom his evil way and evil deeds, and xdwell upon the land that the Lord has given to you and your fathers from of old and forever. 6 yDo not go after other gods to serve and worship them, zor provoke me to anger aawith the work of your hands. Then I will do you no harm.’ 7 abYet you have not listened to me, declares the Lord, acthat you might provoke me to anger adwith the work of your hands to your own harm.

Jeremiah 26:2-6

2Thus says the Lord: aeStand in the court of the Lord’s house, and speak to all the cities of Judah that come to worship in the house of the Lord afall the words that I command you to speak to them; agdo not hold back a word. 3 ahIt may be they will listen, and every one turn from his evil way, aithat I may relent of the disaster that I intend to do to them ajbecause of their evil deeds. 4You shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord: akIf you will not listen to me, to walk in my law that I have set before you, 5 aland to listen to the words of my servants the prophets whom I send to you amurgently, anthough you have not listened, 6then I will make this house aolike Shiloh, and I will make this city apa curse for all the nations of the earth.’”
